  • The annual Parents Guide prepared by North Georgia Parents Association filled with useful information for parents of cadets, resident women, and commuters.
  • A special Parents Association Campus Parking Pass.
  • Information to parents of new cadets, resident women, and commuters during INTRO / FROG Reception Day.
  • The chance to be involved in activities designed to meet other parents, discuss matters of mutual concern, and meet with the administration, faculty and staff.
  • Provide you with tips to help you adjust to having a student at NGCSU, but also help  your new cadet/resident adjust to their new life.
  • Provide answers to such questions as: “When is 1500 hours?”, What do all those ribbons mean?”, “What is a Patch Test?”, “What is Quarters?”.
  • A way to keep in touch with your student's world (without waiting for your student to call).

As a member, you will also be helping NGCSU students as shown below:

  • Provide emergency funds for cadets who cannot afford initial uniform expense.  This is a temporary loan and is reimbursed from ROTC funds paid to the cadets.*
  • Provide emergency book funds for any student who can not afford books.*
  • Provide water for New Student Move-day and FROG Graduation Day.
  • Provide new Cadets with “no cost” patch sewing service (one weekend after FROG week)
  • Provide pizza and coke for Sorority Bid Day in January.
* This process is strictly handled by the NGCSU Financial Aid Office.  All applicants are screened for financial necessity.  Please note that these funds are also considered loans and are expected to be repaid.  If money is not repaid, the student will be unable to receive future emergency funds.
